Qualified candidates can apply who have previous experience as an executive chef, executive sous chef, assistant chef, or highly experienced sous chef.
The candidate must be confident leading; be organized, self-motivated, and passionate about true farm to table dining This is a salaried, managerial position.
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Monitoring daily inventory Menu pricing and controlling food & labor costs to maximize profits Minimizing food waste Keeping an organized, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing kitchen Being proficient in all methods of cooking, including baking.
Ensuring a smooth and successful service each day.
Managing Kitchen and FOH schedule and duties We are looking for someone who:
Is excited to come to work everyday and be part of a small intimate team.
Is prepared to execute dinner and a breakfast and baking program Is aligned with the idea of keeping the kitchen products as local as possible, and adapt the menu around that from week to week.
Is friendly, generally likes people, and has an outgoing personality.
Is able to manage kitchen expenses and keep detailed records for the owner and innkeeper.
Is comfortable operating Apple computers and iPads.
